Refund and Returns Policy – Dotytopin Paintings Studio

At Dotytopin Paintings Studio, we strive to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, we are happy to assist you through our refund and return process. Please review the terms below.
1. Returns
We accept returns on most items purchased directly from Dotytopin Paintings Studio, provided the following conditions are met:
- The item must be in its original condition, unaltered, and unused.
- The item must be returned within 30 days from the date of delivery.
- The return request must be made via email or phone to our customer service team at info@dotytopin.com or (415) 844-6273.
2. Non-Returnable Items
Some items are non-returnable due to their nature. These include:
- Custom or commissioned artworks
- Digital downloads
- Artwork that has been damaged or altered by the customer after delivery
- Any items marked as final sale
3. Return Process
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact our customer service team with your order number and the reason for the return.
- If approved, we will provide instructions on how to send the item back. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part.
- Once we receive the returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it meets the return conditions.
- If the return is approved, we will process the refund to the original payment method, or issue an exchange based on your preference.
4. Refunds
Refunds will be issued after we receive and inspect the returned item. Refunds will be processed in the following manner:
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
- Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days after the returned item is received and approved.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., damaged or incorrect items).
5. Damaged or Defective Items
If your artwork arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately (within 7 days of receiving the item) with the following:
- Photos of the damaged artwork and packaging
- A brief description of the issue
We will either issue a replacement or refund for the damaged item, at your preference. Shipping costs for return and replacement of damaged or defective items will be covered by Dotytopin Paintings Studio.
6. Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item for a different piece, you may do so within 30 days of receiving the artwork. Please follow the same steps as for a return, and we will assist you in processing your exchange.
7. Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. Once an item has been shipped, we cannot cancel or modify the order. For custom orders or commissioned pieces, cancellations are not permitted once production has started.
